The expressed views of the contributors of the entrepreneur are their own.
In the industry built on big moments, Sebastien Center is betting on small things.
“There are things in our industry that people simply expect,” he says. “If it’s hot food, it should be hot. The food should be good. That’s the foundation. But the last five seas? This makes us stand out.”
Centner is the founder of Eatertament, the category and event based in Toronto, which now runs more than 1,000 events. His journey began with confidence and hard lesson.

At that time, the ston was in catering business. He ran a bar and a restaurant when a faithful customer asked if he could help ensure that his daughter was going. It would be his first attempt at the doong event.
He decided he had everything covered: chefs, servers, drinks and food. It can’t be that hardHospitality entrepreneur.
“It was a disaster,” says Shawn Walchef, host Restaurant. “If we delivered 50 percent of what the customer expected, surprised.”
But instead of leaving, he was obsessed. “We did 20 events in the first year,” he says. “I learned from an event event event. Every time I did less and less work.”
Over time, it developed a system based on preparation and accuracy. Every detail of the event was mapped in advance so that his team could handle curveballs and still supply something special.
“I always say that we can five pereent, if we have already planned the first 95,” he says. “If you are trying to fix something basic on the day of the event, you have no time to go Aboo and beyond.”

Philosophy was stuck. Likewise, printing.
“You are tasting the wine together, flying to South Africa to scout, you are basic on holiday with your customers,” he says. “But if something goes wrong, we’re help. They’re not friends.”
The Center loves the energy of world eating-TEMPO, problem solving and creativity. But it is clear to one thing: this is a company and it only works if you are landing.
And that’s not something he does himself. His wife Sheila has been with him from the very beginning and helped drive the business and the brand forward. “He balances me,” says Centner.
The connection of the couple was not just an immediate business. It was immediate in life. “When I met her, we met, (a) moved in a week,” he says. “We were engaged within a month and we were taken during the year.”

For decades they have the world side by side. While Centner focuses on logistics and scaling, Sheila leads a creative side – developing content, strategy management and constantly pushing society to evolve.
“She is the one who says,” And she’s right. We’re doing it for six months. We have to get rid of it. “
With Sheila leads to a creative direction and content strategy, the internal team EATAINMENT now captures every event, adjusts videos, and sends customers of curatorial recapitulation highlighting. It is a layer of varnish that did not only diet a few years ago. This personal touch was part of their five Pierient.
What keeps the center after two decades is not just a growth or scale. They’re people. “My favorite part is to see the faces of people when they lead to the room,” he says. “They smile. The sweater from their phones. This is the reaction we want.”
For a hundred, the moment is everyone. Lights, food, music – it all builds with the spark of joy. This connection. It is another five pierces that were built for delivery.
